Hi! My name is Amanda Rose Wilder.
I am a filmmaker and photographer.
I am a birth worker and self directed learning advocate.
Overarching all of my work is a fascination with people, especially when they are comfortable being exactly who they are.
I gravitate towards real emotions (see my film work) and portraying people as they wish to look (see my portrait photography). As a birth worker, I support birthing people in the creation of birthing spaces and times that feel right for them and allow for an opening up, emotionally and physically. As a self directed learning advocate, I support children as they pursue their chosen interests, even if that means doing “nothing at all.”
